NEWPORT SCHEDULE

We offer a diverse range of classes in a simple schedule

Strive Active is a 98 affiliate gym.

Our classes are 6 days per week and follow the 98 performance program. A 6 day progressive training plan designed to develop strength, power and endurance.

MONDAY

UPPER + SPRINTS

An upper body strength workout that finishes with a series of erg sprint intervals. Series 1 + 2 – Expect movements like strict press and push ups purposefully programmed to make you stronger. Series 3 – A series of erg sprint intervals with an intention to express power.

TUESDAY

LOWER PUSH

A 60 minute strength workout focusing on lower body movements like squats and lunges. These sessions are progressive, balancing overload and recovery as we build towards testing in week 13.

WEDNESDAY

ENERGY SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT (ESD)

A 45-minute erg/run-specific session. Whether completed on the ski, bike, rower, or runner this session will develop your ability to utilise energy, increasing your capability to perform when needed.

THURSDAY

LOWER PULL

A 60 minute strength workout focusing on lower body movements like deadlifts and kettlebell swings. These sessions are progressive, balancing overload and recovery as we build towards testing in week 13.

FRIDAY

UPPER PUSH

A 60 minute strength session focusing on upper body movements like bench press and pull ups. These sessions are progressive, balancing overload and recovery as we build towards testing in week 13.

SATURDAY

GAME DAY

Every Saturday is our chance to test the grit and determination forged in the previous week training. Whether it’s on your own or in our signature team-based workouts this is an opportunity to showcase your mental and physical capability.
